Barnardsville Elementary School is nestled in a valley in the far reaches of the North Buncombe district in the town of Barnardsville. Our school celebrates over 90 years of strength and and dedication to students and the community. Barnardsville Elementary serves approximately 168 students, grades pre- Kindergarten through fourth grade. Our dedicated staff continues to find creative and innovative ways to engage, encourage and nurture our children.

Barnardsville Elementary School's mission is to provide a caring, safe and engaging environment with high expectations that fosters confident, self-directed, life-long learners who are Career and College Ready. We help students reach their full potential and become successful, responsible citizens in a diverse, global society.
